Sam joined the team at The Warwickshire in 2016 following 8 years as a member of the club. The following year he turned professional and enrolled with the PGA programme at The University of Birmingham. 

Sam coaches a range of different ages and abilities, from juniors to seniors and from beginners to professionals, Sam prides himself on a versatile approach to coaching. His teaching philosophy is to help educate the player, understanding the strengths and weaknesses in their game. "Only a small percentage of your golf is spent with a coach. The key to making tangible changes to your game is to understand it and understand how to practice effectively to improve it"​
